Welcome to I Am Unique's on-line Continuing Education Modules! 

The vision of I Am Unique is to be a model home care agency, a pattern for those providing and requiring the services of nurses skilled in vent management.  We recognize that an emphasis on education is essential for this vision to be realized.   

For the past 14 years we have been conducting education in the office with videos in  a class room setting; a hands-on lab with demonstration manikins; and clinical orientation in the field.  It has long been our dream to expand our education vehicles by providing web-based education for our nursing staff.  This would allow them to obtain Continuing Education Units in the comfort and ease of their own home or local library.  Well, its finally here!  The courses are convenient, thorough, and easy to navigate.  Videos, self instructional learning packages, and on-line testing, will earn you a certificate of completion plus a specified number of continung education units.  We will continue to offer lab experience in the office with our special manicans and clinical training in the filed to further enhance the learning experience. 

The NC State Board of Nursing is now requiring 15 CEU's in order for a nursing license to be renewed.  Nurses are being asked to make a plan to ensure that the CEU's will enhance the knowledge and skill base of his/her present job.  Each module that we are planning is designed to map to that goal.
